WIP:
- 0.184: Driver state cleanups [Dirk Best].
- 0.183: Rewrote Ambush driver: Use tilemap system to draw background/foreground characters and use generic gfx_8x8x2_planar layout. Added mario and dkong3 bootlegs running on extended hardware (color PROMs for those haven't been dumped, using the PROMs from the original currently). Updated and correct dipswitches. Documented tile attribute RAM and sprite RAM layout bits. Use screen raw parameters. Added connector layout. Updated TODO list and ROM filenames [Dirk Best]. Changed visible area to 256x224 and VSync to 60.606061 Hz. Swapped gfx1 roms.
- 0.149: Ricky2001 (from AUMAP) added Ambush. Replaced first rom of Ambush with a fresh dump, marked the old set as likely hacked. Changed 'Ambush' to clone 'Ambush (hack?)'. Renamed (ambush) to (ambushh).
- 0.141u4: Tafoid and Tomasz Slanina changed clocks based on confirmed XTAL and dumper's notes for Ambush and clones. Changed Z80 CPU1 clock speed to 3072000 Hz. Replaced the 2x AY-3-8910A sound with 2x AY-3-8912A (1536000 Hz).
- 0.141u3: hap fixed incorrect colors in Ambush and clones.
- 0.138u1: Changed clone (Tecfri) to parent 'Ambush', 'Ambush' to clone 'Ambush (Japan)' and clone (Volt Elec co-ltd) to 'Ambush (Volt Electronics)'. Note: Ambush (Tecfri) displays an M next to ROM 1 during the test, why is internal checksum wrong (0x02 instead of 0x00)? Renamed (ambush) to (ambushj) and (ambusht) to (ambush).
- 0.135u3: Fabio Priuli fixed access violation caused by driver struct & video/spriteram changes in Ambush.

- 0.69a: David Haywood added clone Ambush (Tecfri).
- 0.55: Added 'Difficulty' dipswitch.
