- 0.182: Replaced M68705 CPU3 with 'MC68705P5'.
- 0.149u1: Modernized the buggychl_mcu device [Osso].
- 0.122u8: Zsolt Vasvari added a new dumped color prom to Birdie King 3. Fixed incorrect ROM names. Switched color decoding to use the RESNET code. Changed palettesize from 512 to 64 colors.
- 0.122u6: Changed M68705 CPU3 clock speed to 3MHz.
- 0.122u4: Pierpaolo Prazzoli fixed Birdie King 3 clocks as per Guru README and added GAME_WRONG_COLORS flag. Added M68705 (750000 Hz) CPU3 and M68705 MCU rom, this fixed game resets on some cup-ins. Changed Z80 CPU1 clock speed to 3MHz and the 2x AY-3-8910A to 1.5MHz.
- 29th December 2007: Guru - I've been busy dumping a few other things too... the MCU on Birdie King 3 in now dumped (not sure if the dump is good yet as most of MAMEDEV is slacking now over the holidays). I also measured and noted some clocks are wrong in MAME.
- 16th April 2005: Guru - Birdie King 3 (Taito, for 68705 dumping) arrived, purchased by Randy on eBay several months ago.
- 30th January 2005: Dumping Project - Randy have won a Taito 'Birdie King 3' PCB for trojaning on eBay.
- 0.69: Angelo Salese fixed a few MCU simulation problems in Birdie King 3.
- 0.68: Added 'Birdie King 3' (Taito 1984).
- 17th May 2003: Angelo Salese fixed a bug in the MCU simulation of Birdie King 3.
- 9th May 2003: Angelo Salese simulated the MCU in Birdie King 3 so it is fully working now.
- 16th March 2003: Pierpaolo Prazzoli and Tomasz Slanina added Birdie King 3 to the Birdie King 2 driver but it suffers from unemulated protection.
