Artwork available

SETUP:

- Press F2 before initial screen to configure Track=Steer player 1 CTRL=Accelerate forward ALT=Accelerate backward

Bugs:

- Cars can't reach the right edge. MASH (ID 05260)

- Steering wheel inputs should have their ports inverted instead of reversed. mjenison (ID 04401)

WIP:

- 0.166: Changed PORT_REVERSE to PORT_INVERT. Actual hardware show test mode starts at 0 for wheel inputs, not 128 [tacotown].

- 0.148u2: Brian Troha and The Dumping Union added Demolition Derby. Added the "full" version of Demolition Derby that is dipswitch selectable between Upright and Cocktail mode. The other version was a only supported Cocktail mode. Also added proper dipswitch settings for the Cocktail mode only version [Brian Troha]. Replaced M6809 CPU3 with M6809E. Changed 'Demolition Derby' to clone 'Demolition Derby (cocktail)' and clone (2-Player Mono Board Version) to 'Demolition Derby (MCR-3 Mono Board Version)'. Renamed (demoderb) to (demoderbc).

- 0.145u7: Added 'Midway SSIO Sound Board' and 'Midway Turbo Chip Squeak Sound Board' sound. Removed mono Speaker and 3rd sound channel. Moved Sound Board prom 82s123.12d to midssio device set.

- 0.129u6: Couriersud fixed duplicated input definitions for P1 and P2 buttons in Demolition Derby.

- 26th July 2008: Mr. Do - Thanks to the BYOAC/CAG artwork, we now have a Demolition Derby bezel.

- 0.122u6: Replaced M6809 CPU3 with M6809E (8MHz).

- 0.98u1: Added Z80 (2MHz) CPU2 and 2x AY8910 (2MHz) sound. Changed M6809 CPU3 clock speed to 2MHz. Added prom ($0 - from shollow). Changed region cpu2 to cpu3 and sound to 3 channels.

- 0.56: Renamed (destderb) to (demoderb) and (destderm) to (demoderm).

- 0.53: Changed palettesize from 128 to 64 colors.

- 0.36b6: Aaron Giles added clone Demolition Derby (2-Player Mono Board Version).

- 0.35b13: Bret Wallace added sound to Demolition Derby. Replaced Z80 CPU2 and 2x AY-8910 with M6809 (2250000 Hz) and DAC sound. Added new cpu2 roms ($c000, e000).

- 0.31: Known issues: Due to missing ROMs from the Turbo Cheap Squeak board, sound doesn't work.

- 0.28: Added 'Demolition Derby' (Bally Midway 1984). Players 2-4 aren't fully supported. Due to missing ROMs from the Turbo Cheap Squeak board, sound doesn't work. Christopher Kirmse, Aaron Giles and Brad Oliver provided a MCR I/II/III driver, supporting: Kick, Solar Fox, Tron, Two Tigers, Domino Man, Satan's Hollow, Wacko, Kozmik Kroozr, Journey, Tapper, Discs of Tron, Demolition Derby, Timber, Spy Hunter and Rampage. Control: Press F2 before initial screen to configure. Track = Steer player 1, CTRL = Accelerate forward and ALT = Accelerate backward. At this time, the game requires a trackball (-trak option). Known issues: Players 2-4 aren't fully supported. No sound (it should work in theory).
