TODO:
* Added missing discrete sound
WIP:
- 0.166: Osso fixed missing scrolling starfield in Jump Bug by applying the same star generator as Galaxian. Schematics aren't available, but the readme of the rom dump states that the PCB is very similar to Galaxian.
- 0.161: Tafoid adjusted Jump Bug clock speed to have working audio match that of video from PCB. Added notes regarding missing discrete sounds and added GAME_IMPERFECT_SOUND flag. Changed AY-3-8910A sound clock speed to 1536000 Hz.
- 0.128u5: Atari Ace fixed Jump Bug, which won't start second time around.
- 17th December 2006: Mr. Do - Thanks to the loan by Vintage Arcade Superstore, we have a scan of the generic Rockola bezel, which Zorg vectored quite nicely. For now, I added in a blank red instruction card until we get the real thing. This gives us a bezel for Jump Bug.
- 15th March 2000: Zsolt Vasvari fixed the star field in Jump Bug.
- 0.35b9: Zsolt Vasvari emulated the protection in Jump Bug (Rock-ola). Some ROM splitup too, and fixed colors. Changed palettesize to 97 colors. Renamed (jbugsega) to (jumpbugb).
- 26th March 1999: Zsolt Vasvari merged Jump Bug with Galaxian and emulated the protection.
- 0.34b6: Added color prom 6331-1.11r.
- 0.29: Juan Carlos Lorente added high score saving to Jump Bug.
- 0.26: Nicola fixed Jump Bug driver which is now perfect. Colors are still wrong without proms.
- 0.24: Changed description of clone (Sega) to 'Jump Bug (bootleg)'.
- 0.18: Nicola Salmoria fixed bugs in the Jump Bug sound driver which caused page faults when run under DOS.
- 0.16: Richard Davies and Brad Oliver added clone Jump Bug (Sega). It's actually a bootleg with the protection checks removed. Game is playable and the driver supports sound. Control: Arrows = Move around, CTRL = Fire and ALT = Jump. Known issues: "jumpbug" doesn't work - the protection is not emulated. "jbugsega" has the protection checks removed, so it works. Graphics are wrong - the game has multiple character banks, not emulated yet.
- 0.14: Jump Bug seems to run on hardware similar to Super Cobra [Nicola Salmoria].
- 0.12: Nicola Salmoria added 'Jump Bug' (Rock-ola 1981). It uses a modified Scramble driver, the hardware seems to be similar. It's not playable (the input bits are not even mapped), and resets after a few seconds. I'm not particularly interested in this game, anyone volunteers to complete the driver?
