WIP:
- 0.162: Sandro Ronco fixed video emulation and added inputs in Mini-Boy 7 - Game now playable. Changed the buttons to use the standard Poker HOLD style (IE: keys Z X C V B) as per cabinet design. Someone just needs to hook up the lamps and maybe a simple layout, although the actual keys on the machine are not labeled. Also deleted the bad_dump set 2. According to the dumper's notes it's a bad dump of set 3 as rom labels matched that set. Set 2 hangs when trying to play. Added DSW2-1 as Bartop/Cocktail and added GAME_NO_COCKTAIL flag. Added note about custom AD setup with service button [Brian Troha]. Added lamps and a internal button-lamps layout based on the cabinet pictures. Lamps are currently disabled due to other unknown writes are happening on the same port. Need more investigation. Also added the coin counter [Roberto Fresca]. Removed Mini Boy 7 (set 2). Added Player 1, gambling control and 3x coin slots. Added dipswitches 'Cabinet', 'Turns per Coin', 'Bonus Turns', 'DSW2-6', 'DSW2-7' and 'DSW2-8'. Changed parent description to 'Mini-Boy 7 (set 1)' and clone (set 3) to 'Mini-Boy 7 (set 2)'. Renamed (miniboy7b) to (miniboy7a).
- 0.156: Alex Jackson slightly improved colors in Mini Boy 7 (see gfx2 color 4, now correct playing card colors).
- 0.149u1: Brian Troha, Cornishdavey and The Dumping Union added clone Mini Boy 7 (set 3). Added proms ($0, 100) to clone Mini Boy 7 (set 2).
- 0.139u1: Roberto Fresca and Siftware added Mini Boy 7 (set 1). Mini Boy 7 improvements [Roberto Fresca]: Corrected Xtal frequency. Mapped the PIA MC6821 (not wired since is not totally understood). Preliminary attempt to decode the color PROM. Mapped the AY-3-8910, but still needs ports and some checks. Added debug and technical notes. Changed description of clone 'Mini Boy 7' to 'Mini Boy 7 (set 2)'. Renamed (miniboy7) to (miniboy7a).
- 0.116u2: Roberto Fresca added 'Mini Boy 7' (Bonanza Enterprises, Ltd 1983).
- 20th June 2007: Roberto Fresca - Some program ROMs are bad in Mini Boy 7. Also the color PROM is not dumped. This driver was made analyzing the program ROMs due to lack of information, pics, etc... The game isn't working. Confirmed the CPU as 6502. Confirmed the CRT controller as 6845. Corrected the total & visible area analyzing the 6845 registers. Crystal documented via #define. CPU clock derived from #defined crystal value. Decoded all gfx properly. Partially worked the GFX banks: 2 bank (1bpp) for text layers and minor graphics. 1 bank (3bpp) for cards, jokers, dices and big text graphics.
