WIP:

- 0.155: Osso removed GAME_SUPPORTS_SAVE flag from Two Minute Drill since it's been converted to be derived from Taito F3, it needs proper save state support in the parent driver first.

- 0.154: Alex Jackson fixed Two Minute Drill generic_paletteram regression.

- 0.152: Osso removed anonymous timers from Two Minute Drill.

- 0.147u2: Miodrag Milanovic modernized some static calls in Two Minute Drill driver.

- 0.142u1: Angelo Salese converted 'Two Minute Drill' to use Taito F3 video chip, this hugely improves graphics in it. Added irq ack and fixed sound chip type to be YM2610B. Converted Taito F3 video chip (TC0630FDP) to have a parallelism of 16-bit. Fixed gfx1/2 rom loading and changed palettesize to 8192 colors.

- 6th April 2011: Angelo Salese - I've passed last few days into converting the Taito F3 video chip (TC0630FDP) from 32-bit to 16-bit parallelism. Why a masochistic task like that, you might ask? Because I've realized that by simply converting 2 Minutes Drill to tilemaps, and the HW really looked a bit too complex to my tastes... 2 days of coding later and this game shows huge improvements, mainly because it uses lots of zooming / rowscroll effects. Game is still not playable mainly because it's an half mechanical / half videogame, but oh well.

- 0.135u2: Fabio Priuli added save state support to Two Minute Drill.

- 0.129: Angelo Salese added a work-around for 'Two Minute Drill' to get it booting again.

- 0.128u4: Angelo Salese fixed basic controls in 'Two Minute Drill' and added preliminary shutter/defender sensors. Still need proper ball hit/run sensors to get this working however. Added Player 1, Dial control, 4x buttons and 1x coin slot. Added dipswitches 'DSW', 'IN1' and 30x 'Unknown'.

- 0.117u3: Tomasz Slanina added preliminary video hardware emulation and sound support to the Two Minute Drill driver. Added YM2610 (8MHz) stereo sound.

- 24th July 2007: Tomasz Slanina - Some progress in emulation of this weird football game (see screenshots).

- 0.111u5: David Haywood added 'Two Minute Drill' (Taito 1993).

ARE YOUR PLAYERS QUARTERBACK MATERIAL?
NEEDED: TOP NOTCH QUARTERBACK

What does the NFL and Taito have in common? Two Minute Drill. That's right! Taito and the NFL have teamed up to bring you the ultimate quarterback challenge! Actual digitized NFL film footage combined with the task of rifling spirals past the menacing moving arm of a defensive lineman create the perfect blend of video and live action game playing for any aspiring quarterback.
Try to be the heroic, game winning quarterback by moving your team down the field while precious seconds tick away; the harder you throw, the more yards you gain! Sacks, deflected passes, clutch completions, touchdowns, stat summaries and bone-crushing sounds are all highlights of Taito's hottest new hit. With four different skill levels to choose from, the Two Minute Drill will appeal to a wide range op hopeful quarterbacks (yes, even arm-chair QB's). Time's running out, so don't miss your chance to be a star and score the big one with Taito's Two Minute Drill!
