0.149u1 [System11]
0.68 [David Haywood]
WIP:
- 0.150: trap15 fixed sprite priority issues in NMK16 (tested on Thunder Dragon 2 PCB). This fixed graphics priority problem especially in the 3rd stage of Rapid Hero.
- 0.149u1: System11 added Arcadia (NMK).
- 0.149: Rapid Hero sound improvements [trap15]. Fixed oki1/2 rom loading.
- 0.133u1: NMK16 driver clean ups [David Haywood]: Merged some of the duplicated code in NMK16 driver, and attempting to handle the larger tilemaps used by Thunder Dragon 2, Rapid Hero and Macross 2 in a more correct way. This has fixed some glitches in the intro of Rapid Hero without breaking the ingame graphics. Brian Troha documented what the "language" dipswitch actually does for Rapid Hero. When set to "Japanese", the main characters text "talk" on the Stage Clear screens. When set to "English" you simply see "Stage 'x' Clear" (where 'x' is the current stage you just finished).
- 0.111u1: Luca Elia added sound in Rapid Hero (samples banking is incorrect). Added TMP90841 (8MHz) CPU2 and missing sound1/2 roms.
- 0.106u3: Added 'Language' and 2x 'Unused' dipswitches.
- 0.99u4: Fixed sound1 roms addresses.
- 0.90: Brian Troha added 'Difficulty' dipswitch.
- 15th December 2005: Pierpaolo Prazzoli - Some fixes to nmk16 driver. Added sprites priorities (still few problems with priority = 0) and fixed Rapid Hero background.
- 0.68: David Haywood added 'Rapid Hero (Japan?)' (Media Trading Corp 1994).
- 5th May 2003: David Haywood added the PROMs to Rapid Hero, though they are not used for anything yet.
- 7th March 2003: David Haywood added Rapid Hero to the NMK16 driver, it's playable but sound is not emulated due to a custom sound CPU.
- 21st February 2003: Guru - Rapid Hero (NMK 1994) arrived. Special thanks to Gin (our Japanese contact) for making it all happen again. The dumping project wishes to thank all the people who donated towards this particular raid, including Gin, slaanesh, gnoppi, Louis T., wtc4ever, Renaud D., phys32, R. Belmont, fiji, Amnios and an anonymous donator.
