- 0.165: David Haywood added clone Hissatsu Buraiken (Japan, bootleg?).
- 0.146u5: Changed MSM5205 CPU1 clock speed to 384000 Hz.
- 0.133u1: Changed Z80 CPU1/2/3 clock speeds to 3MHz and MSM5205 sound 455000 Hz. Renamed (avenger2) to (avengers2).
- 0.65: Acho A. Tang fixed sound effects and some glitches in Avengers. Changed Z80 CPU1 clock speed to 6MHz and the 2x Z80 CPUs to 4MHz.
- 0.37b16: Partial protection simulation in Avengers [Phil Stroffolino].
- 4th June 2001: Phil Stroffolino added sound to Avengers, while not perfect, it should at least play the correct sounds.
- 5th June 2001: Guru - Received an Avengers PCB from Phil Stroffolino (a few days ago) which I've used to help him fix the game in MAME.
- 3rd June 2001: Phil Stroffolino added protection support to Avengers, so it is now playable.
- 0.37b8: Added clone Hissatsu Buraiken (Japan). Added new gfx1 rom ($0) and proms ($0, 100 - timing/priority) to (US set 1).
- 0.37b7: Added Z80 (3579545 Hz) CPU3. Replaced ADPCM sound with MSM5205 (384000 Hz).
- 0.37b6: Changed description to 'Avengers (US set 1)' and clone (set 2) to 'Avengers (US set 2)'. Added prom ($0 - priority).
- 22nd January 2000: Phil Stroffolino added a hack to display the background in Avengers.
- 0.36b14: Phil Stroffolino improved Capcom Avengers, the wrong colors are caused by the protection. Added dipswitches 'Allow Continue', 'Demo Sounds', 'Difficulty', 'Bonus', 'Lives', 'Service Mode', 'Flip Screen' and 'Coin A/B'.
- 9th January 2000: Phil Stroffolino fixed some bad sprites in Avengers.
- 8th January 2000: Phil Stroffolino sent in a preliminary Avengers driver with bad graphics and bad sound, but the game is working.
- 0.34b1: Paul Leaman added 'Avengers (set 1)' (Capcom 1987) and clone (set 2). Not working due to protection.
- 18th July 1998: Dumped Avengers (US set 2).
- 31st January 1998: Dumped Avengers (US set 1).
