- 0.152: Angelo Salese added cheap hack for Buriki One coin insertion, game is somehow playable with many gfx bugs.
- 0.137u2: Fixed samples rom address to $c00000.
- 0.135u4: Andrew Gardner reworked the HNG64 polygon chunk recovery code to be more crash-proof. Documented what's known about the 3D data much better. Fixed vertex ROM loading for Buriki One.
- 0.135u2: David Haywood and Angelo Salese added preliminary hook-up for multi-byte chain mode for sprites, used by Buriki One and the two Samurai Shodown games. Angelo Salese corrected sprite end boundary, fixes credit messages in Buriki One, fixed scrolling text in Buriki One attract mode and hooked up global bpp switch for sprites, HW doesn't seem capable of doing per-sprite bpp switch, fixes coin credit text in Buriki One and implemented a quick hook-up that fixes Buriki One 3D model colors minus one case.
- 0.101u3: Changed R4600 (big) CPU1 clock speed to 50MHz. Added Z80 (12.5MHz) CPU3.
- 0.87u4: Fixed gfx4 rom loading.
- 0.86u3: Added new gfx1/2 roms and fixed rom loading. Changed R4600 (big) CPU1 clock speed to 12.5MHz and visible area to 512x432. Added 'TST' dipswitch.
- 0.86u2: Changed R4600 CPU1 clock speed to 100MHz, visible area to 512x448 and palettesize to 4096 colors. Changed description to 'Buriki One (rev.B)'.
- 0.80u1: Guru added 'Buriki One' (SNK 1999). Very preliminary driver, loads and decodes the gfx, attempts to run some of the code. No Video or Sound emulation is done. For now the GFX can be viewed with F4.
- 14th August 2002: Guru - Hyper NeoGeo64 mother board arrived.
- 24th June 2002: Guru - Got a Buriki One (SNK 1999) HyperNeoGeo64 cart from PCB-A-Holic.

Buriki One in Tokyo - World Grapple Tournament '99 (c) 1999 SNK [Shin Nihon Kikaku].
A 3-D fighting game. Choose one of 11 different fighters from around the world, each with their own unique fighting style, and compete in the world grappling tournament. Use throws, or various punches and kicks to knock your opponent out, or win by decision.
The Control system is of special interest as the buttons are used for movement and the joystick is used to attack.

This game features Ryo Sakazaki from the Art of Fighting series.
Gai Tendo and Silber appear as mid bosses in The King of Fighters XI. Gai is also an alternate striker in The King of Fighters 2000.
