0.36b2 [Bryan McPhail]
NOTE:
- At the title screen the "Crude Buster", text turns up and displays correctly. Then just before the "insert coin" shows, two lines cross the text and when they've left the screen, the graphics are cut up in three segments, each shifted 4 pixels to the right of the one above. That behaviour is correct. I've got 4 of these PCBs (don't ask). Mish
Bugs:
- The tempo of the music played by one of the OKI6295's (#1 I think) speeds up when the flamethrower is used. Yonah (ID 00389)
WIP:
- 0.154: System11 added clone Two Crude (US FT version). Note: Different to other sets, changes to Japanese font only and looks intentional (see characters 0x118a / 0x118b / 0x11f9). Smear byte writes the same as a real 68000 [Alex Jackson]. Fixed regression caused by 68k change (data &= mem_mask). Use generic palette handling and removed artificial brightness boost [David Haywood]. Added PCB locations to the Crude Buster / Two Crude sets. Corrected some rom names, reordered the US sets as the recent addition is revision 01. Added more descriptive names in the gamedef to reflect revision 01 sets. Correct Crude Buster / Two Crude to use actual measured clock speeds [Artemio Urbina]. Changed H6280 CPU2 clock speed to 6MHz and YM2203 to 1342500 Hz. Changed description of clones 'Crude Buster (Japan)' to 'Crude Buster (Japan FR revision 1)' and 'Two Crude (US)' to 'Two Crude (US FT revision 1)'.
- 0.136u4: Fabio Priuli converted Crude Buster to use device versions of the deco16 video chips and added driver_data class and save states.
- 0.131u1: MooglyGuy merged memory maps in Crude Buster.
- 0.126u2: Fabio Priuli added DIP locations to Crude Buster.
- 0.103u3: David Haywood converted Super Burger Time, Vapor Trail and Crude Buster to use the DECO tilemap functions. Fixed gfx1/3 rom loading.
- 0.96u3: Bryan McPhail fixed OKI sample rate in Crude Buster. Changed HuC6280 CPU2 clock speed to 8055000 Hz and 2nd OKI6295 to 15255 Hz.
- 0.37b6: Added prom ($0 - priority). Changed clock speed of the 2x OKI6295 to 7627 Hz.
- 0.36b13: Changed VSync to 58Hz and YM2151 clock speed to 3580000 Hz and the 2x OKI6295 to 7757 Hz.
- 0.36b5: Changed YM-2151 clock speed to 3.7MHz.
- 0.36b2: Bryan McPhail added 'Crude Buster (World FX version)' (Data East 1990) and clones (World FU version), (Japan) and Two Crude (US). The 'FX' board is filled with 'FU' roms except for the 4 program roms, both boards have 'export' stickers which usually indicates a World version. Maybe one is a UK or European version.
- 31st July 1999: Jim Hernandez fixed Crude Buster sound.
- 22nd July 1999: Bryan McPhail sent in a driver for Crude Buster, and modified OKI6295 core to support different frequencies.
