WIP:
- 0.143u6: Roberto Fresca added Croupier (Playmark Roulette v.20.05). Changed (Playmark Roulette) to clone 'Croupier (Playmark Roulette v.09.04)'. Renamed (pmroulet) to (croupiera).
- 20th September 2011: Roberto Fresca - Croupier (Playmark) and other news: Thanks to an anonymous collaborator that kindly loaned his board, we have a newer version (20.05) of Croupier (Playmark, 1997). The PCB looks original, and has the infamous unidentified MCU. This new set is now the parent. The MCU calls are similar to the former set, so *maybe* we can try something with this unknown device further. For now, the MCU is simulated to keep the game working. Will see what can we do. Here some snaps.
- 0.127u3: Improvements to Croupier (Playmark Roulette) [Roberto Fresca]: Simulated the MCU communication/protection. The game seems to work properly, but is hard to win. I conserved the game flags till we have the MCU decapped and emulated properly. Added full sound support. Added lamps support + layout. Added proper NVRAM and missing 3rd input (needed for 3-button mode). Cleaned up the driver.
- 11th September 2008: Roberto Fresca - Haze pointed me that the Playmark Roulette needs it MCU simulated in order to work (in fact, the protection turns the game to 'always win'), so I took a look at the driver and started the tedious work. As result, the MCU has been simulated and you now can play a normal game, but is a bit hard to win. I don't know if it's so accurate, but is a step further till we have the MCU decapped (if it's possible). In the next couple of pictures, you can see the number 4 (four) as winner number, and all the bets were placed around number 20 (twenty). So... You now can lose! Also I made a lot of things on this driver... Some of them are: Added full music/sound support to the roulette, fixed the phisical RAM size, added proper NVRAM and lamp support to all games (sderby, spacewin & pmroulet).
- 30th July 2008: Guru - Croupier chips arrived to be decapped, thanks to Dox.
- 0.105u2: David Haywood did some improvements to Playmark's Roulette, though it still doesn't quite work properly. Added new cpu1 roms. Changed 4-way Joystick to 8-way. Changed description to 'Croupier (Playmark Roulette)'.
- 0.99u2: David Haywood added 'Roulette (Playmark)' (Playmark 1997).
