- 0.136: Angelo Salese, Chack'n, Team Japump and Dumping Union added 'Cycle Mahbou (Japan)' (Taito Corporation 1984).
- 25th December 2009: Angelo Salese - Started to write a driver for Cycle Mahbou, an obscure game from Taito / Seta. It seems to be the logical next revision of the Joshi Volleyball / Great Swordsman HW, and like them, it has 2 Taito 8741 MCUs to care about... so it's not yet working mainly due of that. This game was brought to you by Chack'n from Team Japump & Dumping Union, a present gift for the Christmas.
- 24th December 2009: Smitdogg - In almost unbelievable news, a member of Team Japump scored a Cycle Mahbou (Seta/Taito 1984). This is super rare and sought after. Check the pic, it looks like the most interesting game I've seen in a while. If you can find it at all, the going price is over $2,000 USD. Japump also has some other games in the works and could use some financial help, and I have a few PCB's in the works as well (undumped Taito revisions, maybe 64th Street for the prom, and others) that I need financial assistance with, so if anyone can spare some funds over the next few days, I will work on sorting it all out in our favor. Either way, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! Cycle Mahbou is coming to MAME!

Cycle Mahbou (c) 1984 Taito Corp.
It's a rather unique game of skill and different test. You play the role of a guy on a unicycle he advance through the track, and must performed timed jumps to land on various items to collect points, holding the button longer does longer jumps or short jumps. At the same time you need to balance your character using the paddle / spinner control so things can get quite tricky. Each stage gives you a target score and a bonnus stage.
