- 0.152: Ultra Sports improvements [Phil Bennett]: Hooked up K054539 timer interrupt. Implemented VRAM double buffering. Improved trackball inputs. Fixed sound. Changed K054539 sound clock speed to 18432000 Hz, input to Trackball and region user1 to program.
- 0.137u1: David Haywood hooked up default NVRAM in Five a Side Soccer.
- 0.135u4: Fabio Priuli moved K056800 sound device to emu\sound and removed the old code. Updated Ultra Sports driver to use this implementation.
- 0.131u4: Angelo Salese fixed 'Five a Side Soccer' doesn't past rom check.
- 0.128u6: Aaron Giles fixed Five a Side Soccer locks up at rom check.
- 0.126u2: Atari Ace made the initialization of various Konami PPC drivers consistent from run to run, hopefully fixing most multisession issues. Also moved some allocations from static to dynamic storage.
- 0.124: Zsolt Vasvari converted Ultra Sports driver to use INDEXED16. R. Belmont got most of the Konami PPC games running again.
- 0.109u1: Ville Linde added 'Five a Side Soccer (ver UAA)' (Konami 1995).
- 23rd September 2006: Ville Linde - This game was part of Konami's failed Ultra Sports experiment. The game is a head-to-head soccer game running on a special cocktail cabinet. The cabinet can be seen in the Ultra Sports flyer: http://www.arcadeflyers.com/?page=thumbs&id=2186. On the hardware side things are very simple. The main processor is a PowerPC 403GA, for sounds there's a Konami 54539 (better known from Konami GX system), and the video is done with two palette-based framebuffer layers.
