- 0.152: hap added Gun Champ color overlay.
- 0.147u4: ANY added clone Gun Champ (newer, Super Shot hardware). Added proms. Will see to improve emulation later. hap put GAME_NOT_WORKING stamp on gunchamps until it is improved.
- 0.147u1: Game promoted to working [hap]. Removed 2nd Player. Replaced 2-way Joystick with Light gun. Fixed rom names. Added 'Coinage' and 'Unknown' dipswitches. Changed description to 'Gun Champ' (Model Racing 1980). Renamed (modelr) to (gunchamp).
- 0.138u3: Luigi, Volker Hann and Team Europe added 'unknown Model Racing gun game' (Model Racing 19??).
- 4th July 2010: f205v - That game is Super Shot (Model Racing 1979). It's been positively identified by "WIZ".
- 3rd July 2010: David Haywood - Team Europe dumped an unknown game from Model Racing. I'm currently unsure as to the correct title for the game. It's a 4 round shooting game. I'm guessing based on the list at Tilt.it that it's 'Gun Champ' because the description doesn't match Super Shot (there are no balloons etc.) and it's definitely not Clay Busters because that appears to be a clone of Allied Leisure's Clay Shooting. It could of course been an unlisted title. The boards are marked CS235A and CS238A. If anybody can positively identify this (I'm assuming it was distributed mainly in Italy) then it would help with the name in MAME. It's currently unplayable due to some issues with inputs / the shifter emulation (I don't think it expects the same behavior as the one on Space Invaders).
- 2nd July 2010: Smitdogg - Team Europe dumped an old Model Racing game (not sure which game it is).
