WIP:

- 0.182: Bare minimum work to extricate Hot Smash from superqix_state and cleanup. Hot Smash use M68705P5 core instead of in-driver peripherals. Reduced tagmap lookups [Vas Crabb]. Replaced M68705 CPU2 with MC68705P5.

- 0.178: Got rid of timer hacks for Z80<->MCU communication in Vs. Hot Smash. Implemented 68705 DDR registers and proper readback of Z80<->MCU semaphores. Got rid of HOLD_LINE hack for NMI by implementing NMI ACK register. Added more driver notes [Lord Nightmare]. Consistencized the AY port bits for hotsmash and prebillian. Added notes about what the majority of the hotsmash MCU code actually does. Changed the samplerate of the sample playback engine from 5khz to 3906hz which sounds more correct in hotsmash, and is directly derivable from the 12mhz PCB xtal. Unified memory map for prebillian and hotsmash. Made hotsmash machine config derived from prebillian [Lord Nightmare]. Added notes about what the various rams on hotsmash/prebillian and superqix actually do, including the framebuffer ram [Lord Nightmare, Corrado Tomaselli]. Changed M68705 CPU2 clock speed to 3MHz. Added 2x buttons.

- 0.141u3: hap fixed inconsistant audio during demonstration play in Vs. Hot Smash.

- 0.122u6: Changed M68705 CPU2 clock speed to 4MHz.

- 0.115: Aaron Giles updated 68705 clocks to take into account the internal divide by 4. Added constant so that it is clear why this is being done. Changed M68705 CPU4 clock speed to 1MHz.

- 0.102u5: Nicola Salmoria fixed Vs. Hot Smash - Game now playable. Added M68705 (2MHz) MCU. Replaced Paddle with Dial. Added dipswitches 'Demo Sounds', 'Difficulty vs. CPU' and 'Difficulty vs. 2P'.

- 0.93: Changed Custom sound to Samples.

- 18th February 2005: Guru - Vs. Hot Smash (Taito) arrived, purchased by Randy on eBay some months ago. The 68705 MCU is dumped now!

- 0.90: Nicola Salmoria fixed Prebillian/Hot Smash sample playback and improved Hot Smash MCU simulation - the game is playable now though still incomplete. Added 'Points per game' dipswitch. Changed description to 'Vs. Hot Smash'.

- 0.74u2: Added 'Hot Smash' (Taito 1987).

- 0.68: Tomasz Slanina added (Testdriver) Hot Smash.

- 6th March 2003: Tomasz Slanina sent in a driver for Prebillian and Hot Smash, but Hot Smash is not playable due to protection.

- 17th October 2000: Noel Miruru from Team Japump dumped Vs. Hot Smash, (c)1987 Kaneko/Taito.
