WIP:

- 0.178: Swap non playable Primal Rage 2 for playable Judge Dredd for now (machine\idehd.cpp) [smf]. Added CAT702 protection key.

- 0.143u1: Implemented IDE controller command 0x70 (SEEK) makes Judge Dredd (Rev C Dec. 17 1997) boot again [Miodrag Milanovic].

- 0.127u1: smf fixed Judge Dredd - Game now playable. Added lightgun emulation and fixed IDE emulation when building with visual studio. Removed buttons 3-6. Added coin slots 3 and 4.

- 8th April 2004: smf sent in another update to the 24-bit MDEC support in the PSX driver.

- 5th April 2004: smf added 24-bit display support to the PSX driver, as required by Judge Dredd.

- 0.81u3: smf and R. Belmont improved Judge Dredd, but still need work. Changed description to 'Judge Dredd (Rev C Dec. 17 1997)' and clone (Rev B) to 'Judge Dredd (Rev B Nov. 26 1997)'.

- 4th April 2004: R. Belmont got Judge Dredd (Acclaim) working, but light guns aren't emulated so it's not fully playable.

- 0.78: smf added 'Judge Dredd (Rev C)' (Acclaim 1996) and clone (Rev B).

The game was NOT based on the film at all - in fact it was begun long before programmers/designers knew about the film. During it's lifetime it went through three name changes (two being completely non-dredd related) before finally changing back into a Dredd based game!
