NOTE:

- Monaco GP is a non-CPU hardware game. Monaco GP simulator at http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,134445.0.html

- Older sites: http://coinop.vintagegaming.com/monacosim/ or http://www.vidsonix.com/monaco/monaco.htm

WIP:

- 0.153: Fabio Priuli added 'Monaco GP (Set 1) [TTL]' (Sega 1980) and clone (Set 2).

- 8th September 2013: geecab - Monaco GP has never been emulated properly so I decided to try and make my own version as I am a massive fan of the game. Here are some screen shots and a clip of my game running. I've made a few subtle enhancements whilst trying to keep with the look of the 1979 original. The game is finished, and it is quite configurable; display size, display rotate, number of enemy cars, enemy car speed, time, lives, Controls (re-definable keys or mouse) etc. It plays well on my MAME driving cabinet, for which I hacked an old mouse and used the y-axis as my steering wheel. YouTube clip showing the gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=X4zbBv5r75I

- 18th February 2007: Mr. Do - Thanks to vectoring by Zorg, you can find Monaco GP artwork at the Other Artwork page, which is compatible with MiSFiT MAME.

- 20th July 2006: 3D ARCADE - Btribble has updated the MonacoGP Sitdown 3D model to version 2.

- 6th July 2006: 3D ARCADE - New 3D cabinet model for Monaco GP from Btribble.

- 14th June 2001: Phil Stroffolino sent in a preliminary Sega Monaco GP driver.

- 25th February 2000: Phil Stroffolino's Monaco GP Simulator is coming... Phil has unpacked all of the sprite roms and has done great work on the getting the colors right (the eye candy of the awesome coding he has done from graphics to gameplay). The Sim actually works, however there is currently no collision detection, and much tweaking and detailing still needs to be done. The Sim currently runs under MAME architecture.

- 14th March 1999: Dumped Monaco GP.
