0.62 [Paul Priest, David Haywood]

TEST MODE:

- When entering the test mode, you need to press SERVICE1 to cycle through the different screens.

WIP:

- 0.168: Improved Nostradamus emulation: Sprite masking effect supported (stage 6 boss). Tilemap enable supported (flickering shadow for stage 7 boss). Priority 0 sprites now shown (final boss arms). BG colour changed to more likely pen (fade in/out on intro & end) [David Haywood]. Nostradamus is a mono board. Have tried to get the sound balance closer to the Nostradamus PCB [System11].

- 23rd November 2015: David Haywood - Sometimes it's difficult to know if the emulation of a game is correct without studying reference videos, and sometimes those reference videos don't surface until much later. That was the case with the FACE shooter Nostradamus, which has a number of video effects we didn't know were missing until they were highlighted by somebody watching a 1CC (1 Credit Clear) of the game recorded from a PCB. There were a number of effects, including a sprite masking effect and a shadow flicker effect missing, as well as the arms of the final boss (this one we did actually suspect was a bug for a long time, the PCB evidence provided confirmation). I've uploaded a recording of the game after making several fixes to YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyGfj4hJINI). The video has cheats enabled, it's not meant to be a gameplay video. You'll probably want to make sure you're watching a 60fps version.

- 0.145u5: David Haywood fixed random crashes in Magical Cat Adventure driver.

- 0.136u4: Fabio Priuli added driver_data struct and save states to MCatAdv driver.

- 0.133u1: Brian Troha added DIP locations to Nostradamus.

- 0.130u3: Christophe Jaillet and Fabio Priuli fixed palette regression in the MCatAdv driver.

- 0.122u5: Changed Z80 CPU2 clock speed to 4MHz.

- 0.111u4: David Haywood added missing linescroll effect to Nostradamus. It can be seen in action on the first levels.

- 0.74u1: Hopefully fixed crash some people were having with Nostradamus [David Haywood].

- 0.63: Added clone Nostradamus (Korea).

- 18th November 2002: Guru added the Korean version of Nostradamus.

- 20th November 2002: Paul Priest merged the graphics emulation for Nostradamus and Magical Cat Adventure.

- 0.62: Paul Priest and David Haywood added Nostradamus (Face 1993) and clone (Japan).

- 6th October 2002: Paul Priest added priorities, global sprite offsets and sprite buffering to the Magical Cat Adventure and Nostradamus driver.

- 4th October 2002: Paul Priest submitted a driver for Nostradamus, it's fully working except sound is not yet emulated.

- 19th October 2002: Guru - Nostradamus (Face 1993) arrived. Thanks to Brian Troha for the loan of the boards.
