- 0.166: Overhauled the rendering of text sprites and added masking to SunA8 driver. Not perfect yet but improves a few effects compared to PCB videos. This fixed Super Ranger and others sets has graphics issues when finishing first and last stage [Luca Elia].
- 0.156: Corrado Tomaselli verified clocks/vsync for Super Ranger. Changed Z80 CPU2 clock speed to 3MHz, the 2x YM2203 to 1.5MHz and VSync to 59.1 Hz.
- 0.153: bodger319, AeroCityMayor, Brian Troha and The Dumping Union added clone Rough Ranger (v2.0). This new dump is an original non patched dump of rom 1. The older unprotected set has now been labeled as a bootleg. Changed description of clone (v2.0, unprotected, bootleg?) to 'Rough Ranger (v2.0, bootleg)'. Renamed (rranger) to (rrangerb).
- 24th January 2014: Smitdogg - Brain dumped an alt version of Rough Ranger.
- 0.149u1: Corrected and standardize the rom labels for the Rough/Super Ranger sets. Removed the dumper added "R" from the "File ID" in the comments. Added DIP locations to Rough Ranger/Super Ranger sets. Correct default settings as per manuals [Brian Troha].
- 0.148u2: ANY added clone Super Ranger (older). Note: This has the same program roms as the 2 licensed versions, but the 2 graphic roms containing the SunA logo + license differ, showing only SunA. Changed description of clones (bootleg) to 'Super Ranger (older, bootleg)', (NOVA) to 'Super Ranger (older, NOVA license)' and (WDK) to 'Super Ranger (older, WDK license)'.
- 0.147u3: ShouTime added clone Super Ranger (NOVA).

- 0.135u4: Worked around protection in sranger, srangerw and srangerb [Angelo Salese]. Changed clone Super Ranger (v2.0) to parent and 'Rough Ranger (v2.0)' to clone 'Rough Ranger (v2.0, unprotected, bootleg?)'.
- 28th July 2009: Mr. Do - Kiltron got busy this summer and recently cranked out Rough Ranger artwork.
- 0.130u2: Mamesick added samples emulation to Rough Ranger (V2.0), write ports A & B of YM2203 are used. Added Samples sound.
