Bugs:
- Clone theglobp: [possible] Speedup per each new level seems excessive. Bugfinder (ID 01194)
WIP:
- 0.181: smf added multiplexed inputs for clone Beaste Feastie. Dumped PAL10H8 for clone Beastie Feastie (conversion kit) [Andrew Welburn, Craig Anstett].
- 0.176: The Iron Goat added clone 'Beaste Feastie' (Epos Corporation 1984). Needs 2p inputs. PROM seems good, but should be checked if possible. Changed description of clone 'Beastie Feastie' to 'Beastie Feastie (conversion kit)'. Renamed (beastf) to (beastfp).
- 13th July 2016: The Iron Goat - I dumped the ROMs from my Beastie Feastie PCB and they don't match any of the existing Glob/BF ROMs in MAME. I think the BF in MAME is a Pac-Man board conversion kit, while mine is a dedicated PCB (Epos Tristar 9000 board). I scanned the manual. According to this, there's a service mode with an option for displaying the status and function of each dip switch.
- 0.146u2: Changed description of clone 'Super Glob (Pac-Man hardware) German' to 'Super Glob (Pac-Man hardware) (German bootleg)'.
- 0.104u2: Chaneman and David Widel added clone 'Super Glob (Pac-Man hardware) German'. This set is from a modified Pengo board. Pengo and Pacman are functionally the same. The bad sound is probably correct as the sound data is part of the protection.
- 0.90u4: Dave Widel added clone Super Glob (Pac-Man hardware). Not sure if this is the official set, or an accidental merged set with 'The Glob'.
- 0.61: Added missing cpu1 rom ($1000) to clone (set 3).
- 26th June 2002: Zsolt Vasvari added a missing ROM to The Glob driver.
- 0.37b14: Zsolt Vasvari added 'Super Glob' (Epos 1983) and clones The Glob, The Glob (earlier) and (set 3). TODO: During the color test, Super Blob uses a busy loop to split the screen between the two palettes. This effect is not emulated. See $039c. The Glob has a different color test, not using the busy loop. Super Glob seems like a later revision of The Glob, the most obvious difference being an updated service mode. Changed 'The Glob' to clone 'The Glob (Pac-Man hardware)'. Renamed (theglob) to (theglobp).
- 7th April 2001: Zsolt Vasvari sent in an EPOS driver for The Glob, Super Glob and IGMO.
- 0.36b14: Added sound1 rom ($100 - timing).
- 0.35b12: Changed description to 'The Glob' and clone 'Beastie Feastie (Pac Man hardware)' to 'Beastie Feastie'.
- 0.34b3: Juan Carlos Lorente added high score saving to Beastie Feastie.
- 0.34b2: Clay Cowgill and Mike Balfour added clone Beastie Feastie (Pac Man hardware).
- 0.34b1: Added sound prom.
- 0.33b7: Mike Balfour added 'The Glob (Pac Man hardware)' (Epos 1983).
- 27th June 1998: Eagle dumped The Glob (Pac-Man hardware).
