0.69 [Stefan Jokisch]
WIP:
- 0.170: Added more accurate SSi S14001A speech chip emulation, written by one of the people at SSi who originally laid out the S14001a silicon in 1974/5! [Ed Bernard, hap]. Added new s14001a_device to Wolf Pack [hap].
- 0.150: Modernized the S14001A sound device [Osso].
- 21st November 2011: 3D ARCADE - New Atari 3D cabinet model for Wolf Pack from btribble.
- 0.125u9: Update S14001A core [Lord Nightmare]: Improved filtering to be more accurate to the chip, changed internal audio renderer to produce 4 bit sound as the real chip does. Moved filter outside of the main rendering loop into the glue code. Note: With this update, you may hear a whining noise that was not previously present. This is accurate to the chip! The real chip would almost always have an analog filter placed on its output to suppress this whine.
- 0.123u2: Changed palettesize to 12 colors.
- 0.117u2: Lord Nightmare connected S14001A speech to the Wolf Pack. Added S14001A (20 kHz) sound.
- 0.103: Stefan Jokisch fixed Wolf Pack to use RAM mirroring for zero page memory.
- 1st July 2003: Stefan Jokisch fixed the LEDs in both Boxer and Wolf Pack.
- 14th June 2003: Stefan Jokisch fixed a glitch in Wolf Pack that showed up after a few minutes of playing.
- 0.70u1: Stefan Jokisch rewrote the Wolf Pack driver based on schematics, and it works much better now. Changed region proms to sound1, visible area to 512x224 and palettesize from 2 to 8 colors.
- 0.69: Stefan Jokisch added 'Wolf Pack (prototype)' (Atari 1978). Graphic emulation might not be perfect and no sound.
- 30th December 2002: Stefan Jokisch sent in a driver for Wolf Pack, it's playable but sound isn't emulated and graphics emulation is not perfect.
