WIP:
- 0.179: Changed description to 'Burger Time (DECO Cassette) (US)' and clone 'Hamburger (DECO Cassette, Japan)' to 'Hamburger (DECO Cassette) (Japan)'.
- 3rd February 2013: Smitdogg - We've dumped a bunch of tapes and dongles. It is slightly messy at the moment because of cassette dumps getting their ends padded with blank space in MAME but (very) roughly it's looking like: Hamburger (Japan original no rev, redump with newer tools).
- 0.146u1: The Dumping Union corrected Burger Time rom names to include revision.
- 0.146: Guru and Charles MacDonald added clone Hamburger (DECO Cassette, Japan). Team Japump fixed protection in clone Hamburger, giving it working status.
- 12th May 2012: Smitdogg - We are still working hard on DECO Cassette updates. We're in the middle of dumping: DS Telejan (version 4-A-3), Pro Golf (version 1-A) and Hamburger (version 0-A-0). A couple of the dongles are troublesome but will be done soon.
- 0.145u1: Changed description to 'Burger Time (DECO Cassette)'.
- 28th November 2010: Smitdogg - I had a spare Burgertime Deco Cassette dongle without a tape to go with it so I opened it up to dump the rom directly. The dump matched the .pro read we have for it perfectly so whatever method Al K. was using to read them from the pinouts works perfectly to get unaltered rom chip reads.
- 23rd May 2010: Smitdogg - We got undumped DECO Cassettes for The Grand Sumo, Skater Gaiter and Super Doubles Tennis! The auction also came with a complete system and cassettes for Burger Time and Burnin' Rubber which could be alt. versions. I'm not sure yet when they will be dumped, but they are secured. Thanks to Tormod, Rambo, M. Ponweiser, A. Costin, Cornishdavey, Xiaou2, Paratech, E. Barwell, ThumB, www.arcade-history.com, jmurjr, N. Francfort, F. Bukor, Hikari, ArcadeDude, E. Page-Hanify, T. Huff, SteveS, c:\, Dr. Spankenstein and Kevin Eshbach! I took lots of pics and put them into 1 zip. A couple of the boxes (Scrum Try) don't go with the games they contain but I took pics of the boxes anyway. I don't have access to a scanner at the moment but I will scan the instructions, etc. before they leave my possession. Update: I've started dumping the motherboards and they have an alt set of chips.
- 0.117u1: Zsolt Vasvari fixed input port typo in Burger Time (Cassette).
- 0.88u2: Changed description to 'Burger Time (Cassette)'.
- 0.37b13: Juergen Buchmueller added 'Cassette: Burger Time' (DECO 1983).
- 12th February 2001: Juergen Buchmueller sent in an updated DECO Cassette system driver with support for Bump N Jump / Burnin' Rubber, Burger Time, Graplop / Cluster Buster, La.Pa.Pa / Rootin' Tootin', Fighting Ice Hockey, Pro Bowling, Night Star, Pro Soccer and Peter Pepper's Ice Cream Factory, but the games still lack some graphics.

- TRIVIA -
This revised DECO Cassette System version of Burger Time was released internationally in November 1982. The original version, titled "Hamburger", was seen exclusively in Japan.
Changes from "Hamburger" :
* The enemies now enter the screen from the corners of the actual visible playfield.
* The remaining lives indicator has been moved to the lower left corner of the screen; the remaining lives are now stacked vertically.
* The chef no longer freezes his position when he sprays pepper.
* There is now a warning signal and a blinking 'Pepper' display when the chef runs out of pepper.
* The levels now appear in their more familiar order.
* The start display now says 'Get Ready' instead of 'Game Start' at the start of a new game and a new life (after getting caught).
