0.145u1 [gamerfan, Phil Bennett]

SETUP:

- To calibrate/display the analog control hold down key (9), tap on (F2) and then (F3). Apply the controls to their limits and then tap (F2) again.

WIP:

- 0.182: Angelo Salese hooked up Namco C148 to Winning Run GPU. Fixed POSIRQ line, POS interrupt generation and trail tachometer drawing in Winning Run.

- 0.180: Remap controls to use pedals and paddles for Winning Run [Logan B]. Added vertical 2-way Joystick, Paddle and Pedal.

- 15th April 2015: Guru - Recently I got hold of a bunch of random PCBs: Namco Winning Run (in metal box). Some of them could be undumped versions. At the very least they will be used to make Guru-Readme's and added to MAME source.

- 0.155: hap fixed Winning Run missing 3D (this changes STATIC_COUNT from 0x100 to 0xff) (emu\memory.c). Fixed bad downcast in Winning Run (machine\namcos2), now it crashes later on as it did in 0.154. Up to 0.153 it worked fine.

- 0.146u4: hap corrected C140 interface for Winning Run. Cleanup machinestart.

- 0.145u1: gamerfan and Phil Bennett added 'Winning Run' (Namco 1988). Writing a C148 IRQ priority register now clears the prior interrupt state (required by winrun) [Phil Bennett].

- 8th February 2012: Smitdogg - Winning Run MAME WIP shots from Phil Bennett.

- 7th February 2012: Smitdogg - We finally got the original "mass produced prototype" Winning Run game from 1988! It is extremely rare these days and I didn't think we would ever get it but happily I was proven wrong by some investigative work by gamerfan.

Released in Japan in late December 1988. It was released in USA and the rest of the world in February 1989.

Winning Run was NAMCO's third entry into the F-1 Genre (previously being the Pole Position series and Final Lap 1987). It was the first game to use NAMCO's new state of the art system, the System 21 'Polygonizer' utilizing flat shaded polygons and also a moving deluxe cabinet.

On the NAMCO circuit there is also a Dunlop Style Tire-Bridge with NAMCO on it.
